I love a good catfish buffet. You know you’re in the right place when everything on your plate is brown. You have an off-white or tan buffet plate that is hard plastic. You then adorn the plate with fried okra, hush puppies and catfish. Wash it all down with a tan (sometimes red) cafeteria cup full of ice cold sweet tea. Now you can see why Tavin was so upset when his dining experience was interrupted by what he calls “a catfish neck”.
